Drive through the colorful and historic city, Castries founded by the French in 1650 as “Carénage” (meaning “safe anchorage”) and was renamed in 1756 as “Castries”. View the city historic infrastructures and monuments like the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception built in the 19th century and Derek Walcott Square named after the island’s Nobel Prize-winning poet…
Enjoy a brief stop on the lush green banana plantations (main export), where one can sample our organic local bananas and many related products including banana ketchup, banana wine, banana BBQ sauce and many more.
Marvel at the spectacular twin peaks (The Pitons) Gros Piton and Petit Piton rising magnificently out of the sea as you descend through the rainforest in the town of Soufriere, the first city of Saint Lucia.
Visit the Caribbean’s only Drive-in Volcano/Sulphur Springs for a 30 minute-tour with professional guides of the compound. Be prepared to be amaze by such natural occurrence. Experience the mud bath in the Mineral Pools downstream from the springs, the water temperature is still hot but cools enough for visitors to enter for a therapeutic mud bath. Afterwards, feast on our mouth watering Creole lunch.
Next stop – Toraille Waterfalls and Botanical Gardens for a refreshing and rejuvenating waterfall bath (optional) and view the tropical flora and fauna of St. Lucia at the Toraille Botanical Gardens.
Then take in the view of Marigot Bay, the most beautiful natural harbor in the Caribbean, where many films have been made including Dr. Doolittle starring Rex Harrison, Fire Power with Sophia Loren… described by American Novelist, James A. Michener, as “the most beautiful bay in the Caribbean.”
Finally, we head to the captivating scenery of the City from Morne Fortune before returning to the drop-off point. Here’s to a great St. Lucian experience!

- The roads are narrow and curvy.
- Stops may shorten or skip because of time constraints for cruise visitors
- Visitors allergic to Sulphur should not bathe in the Sulphur Springs/Mud Bath

Hi am lisa from canada I had the best time of my life in st.lucia with jitan tours. They took their time to teach me about the island of st.lucia I got to know about the banana plantations,native village,majestic piton,botanical gardens and the diamond full’s The local food and drinks was great. We were refered to Jitan Tours from a friend on the Canival Victory cruise line.St Lucia is breathtaking and the food….mmmmm great on J T LAND EXCURSION.
Try the rum and coke too ,if you decide to go with Jitan Tours….WE had the time of our life ,the best tour through out our criuse…I will recomment Jitan Tours any time…we will be back…..Remember we want to climb the twin peaks next time…Good luck Jitan

Thank you for making our short stay in St. Lucia so memorable. My aunt and I were on one of your tours in October. You and your driver were both extremely friendly and very knowledgeable about the island. We loved that you stopped for those breath-taking camera moments, and the yummy samples of food was an added bonus. Driving along with our Piton Beer and Rum Punch was also a delight. Thank you for greeting us with a smile as we disembarked from the cruise ship. Traveling to the waterfall and the beaches–I have to say the beauty of your island took my breath away. If I ever get back there, I will use you again–but this time–we will make it to the volcano! Thank you for being one of the top two highlights of my entire Caribbean Vacation.
